Karo (R) Six-Minute Pecan Pie

Bear's Anecdote - A friend of mine from Huntsville, Alabama (Tim P. - It isn't good to give full names on the internet.) gave me a great stack of recipes. Here is one of them.

A couple things need to be said. This is *NOT* my wife's unbelievable pecan-brandy pie, but its pretty good. I think this was the starting point for her experiments in pecan-pie land. Also, I found out recently that my father's favorite pie is pecan. So, I need to post Jodie's wonderlicious pie, as soon as I can pry the recipe from her.

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the first five ingredients until well blended.
  2. Stir in nuts.
  3. Pour into a pastry shell.
  4. Bake in 350 degree oven 50 or 55 minutes, or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and the edge comes out clean.
  5. Cool.

Serves 8.
