Bear's Anecdote - Years ago, Bear's mother sent Jodie and Bear a box of recipes. Here is one from the box. Bear adores Fettuccine Alfredo and Italian food in general. Even the word "Fettuccine" is fun to say! And the word "Fettuccine" can be spelled either "Fettuccine" or "Fettucini" or even "Fettucine."
1-1/2 c. cooked and diced chicken
1 pkg (12 oz) fettuccine
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1 c. Light cream or 1/2-and-1/2
3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
1 egg yolk slightly beaten
2 tblsp chopped parsley
Cook pasta and drain.
Cook and stir remaining ingredients except parsley in medium sauce pan until hot. **Don't Scorch!**
Pour sauce over hot noodles.
Sprinkle with parsley and (optional) more parmesan cheese.
Chopping parsley the fun way!
Tear off parsley leaves from stems and place in wide mouthed glass.
Using kitchen shears, repeatedly snip the leaves while they remain in the glass.
